Birthday Parties and nails

This last weekend we celebrated Cooper's 2nd Birthday with family and friends.  Cooper had a blast and received lots of great gifts.  It rained most of the day but part of the way through the party it stopped raining and the kids were able to head outside and play.  Cooper was also willing to share his present from Grandma and Grandpa LeJeune which was a Jeep to drive around the yard.  Cooper had lots of fun with this and was content to let everyone else drive him around.  Unfortunately, I still have not gotten any pictures of the jeep.

On Tuesday, Josie got to spend the day getting pampered with Auntie Casey and mommy.  Casey and I decided to get pedicures but Josie wanted her fingernails done.  She decided on bright pink with sparkles over top.  She looked like such a big girl and watched so intently while the lady did her nails.

On Thursday morning the kids and I were playing outside and 2 bald eagles landed in the pasture behind the house.  I couldn't believe how close they actually were.  The cows didn't even seem to notice the eagles sitting there.  The eagles must have a nest somewhere close by as we have been seeing them more and more this year.  Several times we have had 1 land in the pasture but never 2 and never this close to the house.  It was pretty amazing to see them so close and realize how big they actually are.

Cooper is 2!

I can't believe Cooper is already 2.  He is getting to be such a big boy.  He's starting to try and say more and more words.  And just overall being more verbal.  He is a true boy and loves to play in the dirt and mud.  Cooper loves to try and do whatever Josie is doing or whatever the kids around him are doing.  Cooper thinks that he is much bigger and older than he actually is.  Cooper loves to be outside and playing in the dirt.  We are going to be filling the sandbox up within the next several weeks and then hopefully Cooper won't be digging up my plant next to the steps anymore.

Cooper thought he should wear a dress since big sister Josie was.  He was helping to entertain cousin Estella!

A nice family picture at church after Estella's baptism.
