Baby Calves and Cooper

We had our first 2 baby calves this last weekend and the kids love them.  Josie asks multiple times a day to go see them.  I think the kids would sit and watch the babies for a long time if I let them.  Here's a few pics
This was the first calf born. She was born in the barn to a Heifer
This calf was born to a cow back in the hollow.
This kids and Luke checking out the baby calf in the hollow
Cooper loves shoes and this day Cooper thought it would be fun to walk around in his daddy's shoes.  He had a bit of a hard time.  Immediately after taking this picture Cooper fell over.
Cooper loves his push tractor that Ron and Betty gave him last summer.

Easter

Easter morning the kids got up and got to have their Easter baskets right away.  The kids loved their baskets full of treasures.  The Easter bunny brought them both sandals, sunglasses, bath tub paint, and candy.  Josie also got a Rapunzel barbie and Cooper got a toy truck.

This year Luke and I decided that we would host Easter at our house. It was so nice to not have to go anywhere all day on Easter. We invited both of our immediate families and also my Aunt Rose and her family down for supper. After supper we did and Easter egg hunt outside for all of the kids and they had a blast despite the cold and wind. The only one that didn't participate in the egg hunt was baby Estella since it was so cold and windy outside and she was already having a tough day. The kids did have problems getting their eggs into their bags, so each kid had to have an adult helping them collect their eggs!

Bowling

Saturday night, my brother had a Smoker for his race car at South Lanes Bowling alley, so we decided to take the kids with us and take them bowling.  Let's just say the kids were fascinated!  They loved the idea of bowling.  When it came time to actually bowl, Josie wasn't so sure she wanted to try it but Cooper was gung ho.  Then when Josie saw Cooper doing it, she decided it would be ok to try.  The kids loved it.  They had so much fun that they bowled 2 games.  Josie was able to push the ball down the alley all by herself but Cooper needed help pushing the ball.  The kids had so much fun Josie still brings it up.  Here are some pics.  Enjoy!!
